The Google Pixel 3 sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 3840x2160 and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the goliath is Qualcomm's Adreno 540 GPU. The primary cameras are 12+12-megapixels with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus, laser detection autofocus, geo-tagging, HDR and panorama and it can record 4k videos at 30fps. The secondary camera is 8-megapixels with a f/1.8 lens and can record full HD videos at 30fps. The cameras also support Google Lens, an exclusive to Pixel devices, which allows you to point at objects and get information about them.
Hardware and Software
The Google Pixel 3 is powered by Qualcomm's top of the line Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.3 GHz, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with no expansion capabilities. The battery is a non-removable 3,000mAh Li-ion unit which supports Quick Charge 3.0, allowing you to charge your phone at lightning fast speeds. The device is expected to run Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box, with virtually no customization, allowing for a clean, stock Android experience.

Connectivity and Additional Features
The Google Pixel 3, much like its predecessors, has only a single SIM card slot which supports 4G and VoLTE. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n/ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The device lacks a 3.5mm audio jack and comes with a USB C to 3.5mm converter in the box. With the above specs, the Google Pixel 3 is one of the best contenders to take the iPhone X head on.
