Many are playing the notch game after Apple made it trendy and vivo was among the first to join. While it all started with Essential and its selfie camera hole, Apple made it much bigger to fit its Kinect-like FaceID tech and that's where the market went. Now, mere months later vivo is already challenging the notch concept with the new V11.



Meanwhile, the company that was the first to introduce the under-display fingerprint scanner is now also the first to try and trickle it down to the mid-range.

Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Vivo V11 features a dual camera set up at the back (12MP, f/1.8 + 5MP, f/2.4). The rear camera arrangement is the same which is found on the Vivo X21 and the Vivo NEX lineup of smartphones and we have fallen in love with it already.

One can expect the same level of photography experience with the Vivo V11. At the front, we get a more than decent 25MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Both the front as well as the rear cameras feature AI capabilities like AI scene detection, AI beauty mode, and AI food detection.

A decent 3,400 mAh battery fuels the Vivo V11 which comes with 18W quick-charging support. Sadly enough, we get a traditional USB 2.0 charging port which appears to be a strange choice by Vivo.
The device is already launched in China and the company will hold a launch event on September 6 in India which will reveal the global price as well.

EXULANSIS 1 When I woke up, there was light in the room. I remember the last time I looked at the clock. It showed the time as 4:30 am, I was awake for a long time after that.
